Job summary

Lancashire Constabulary’s ICT Department is seeking an Airwave Systems Engineer to be based at Hutton HQ. The role focuses on delivering high-quality ICT support through programming, repair and maintenance of ICT equipment, aligned to operational needs.

You will install, maintain, diagnose faults, provide technical advice, contribute to Airwave system design, and participate in the ICT On Call Rota. MV/SC vetting is required, with 5 years UK experience for Management Vetting.

Qualifications

• MV vetting and SC vetting (security clearances) required.
• Minimum 5 years UK experience for Management Vetting.
• Willingness to work towards ITIL Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, fault diagnose ICT equipment and services for the Constabulary.
• Provide technical advice to customers, stakeholders and ICT staff.
• Contribute to design, installation and support of Airwave systems.
• Participate in ICT On Call Rota.
