Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a Ramp Agent to join our team in Greater London. You will support aircraft turnaround operations, ensuring safety, security and efficiency while assisting in baggage handling and de-icing as required.

You will lead a small team during turnarounds, brief the team before aircraft arrival, and maintain compliance with airline, company and legal requirements. A valid UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Ramp Agent experience.
• Proof of Right To Work in the UK, and Full and valid UK Driving Licence.
• Criminal Record Check and Airside Security Clearance (we will assist in this process)

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Duty Management Team in planning and managing the operation, including completion of reports/audits as required.
• Deliver a thorough briefing to your Team prior to the arrival of aircraft.
• Lead your Team in all aspects of an aircraft turnaround ensuring established safe working practices are followed and taking responsibility for the turnaround area including ensuring equipment is parked in the correct place.
• Liaise with relevant internal and airline key contacts during the turnround of the aircraft and completion of any necessary paperwork in accordance with company, airline and legal requirements.
• Any aircraft de-icing duties as requested. Safe operation of equipment and vehicles necessary to complete your work and all duties of an Airside Operative when required.

You will also be trained to assist in other aircraft turnaround procedures such as baggage handling and de-icing according to our business needs.
