Job summary

Leidos Security & Detection Systems is seeking a qualified Site Service Shift Engineer to support on-site installation, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance of airport security systems at Manchester airport. Based in Manchester, you will report to the Field Services Area Manager and work closely with customers to ensure high standards of service and reliability.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer interface and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuitry.
• Linux knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in field/service environments is desirable.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and service X-Ray and CT security systems at client sites.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and on-site service activities.
• Provide on-site training to customer personnel on operation and maintenance of systems.
• Diagnose technical problems and guide junior technicians as needed.
• Maintain CRM records and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction.
