Job summary

ABM at Aberdeen Airport is seeking a Customer Service/Passenger Experience Assistant to support check-in, boarding and passenger flow across the terminal. You will handle queuing, assist in departures, and respond to queries, delivering a calm, friendly and efficient service.

The role requires weekend availability, a right to work in the UK and a 5-year employment history. Training on security procedures and GDPR will be provided, with opportunities to grow within ABM’s aviation operations.

Qualifications

• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• 5 year checkable employment/education history.
• Must be willing to work weekend shift.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check-in passenger queue management and flow control.
• Assist with passenger flow in the departure lounge and gate areas.
• Support security preparations and access control as required.
• Handle passenger queries and assist with way finding.
• Support the Passenger With Reduced Mobility service as required.
• Log and report operational issues to the Terminal team.
• Promote use of self-service check-in kiosks.
• Manage lost and found items during shifts.
• Ensure check-in equipment is serviceable and engage with support contractors.
• First aid training provided.
