AIRPORT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose: The overall responsibility of ensuring safe, secure, and punctual airport operations at the respective international station.

Key responsibilities and accountability:

Customer Service workflow process & administration:

• Plan, develop, and maintain ground operating procedures for the airport as per the company objectives.
• Develop processes and procedures.
• Resolve customer complaints & handle their queries.
• Maintain quality targets as per client standards.

Airline/airport regulations:

• Ensure adherence to service and safety standards as defined.
• Ensure proper functioning of station activities.
• Administer leases, contracts, and rental agreements for station ground handling facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate with government agencies & airport authorities.

Internal customer management:

• Staffing & adequate training for the staff.
• Check performance and provide regular feedback.
• Conduct yearly appraisals for employees at the locations.

Budgeting & costing:

• Prepare customer service and ground handling budgets for the airports based on the schedule. Monitor the performance of the airports against the budget and take corrective actions if required.
• Interpret data & carry out a cost-benefit analysis for purchase or outsourcing of equipment.
• Maintain office & airport equipment.
• Send monthly reports to the head office.
• Maintain & update respective airport reports.
