Job summary

4Maintenance Engineering Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join the team. The role involves maintaining, repairing, refurbishing and installing mechanical equipment, with a focus on fault-finding and problem-solving across Heathrow and other UK & Ireland airports.

The candidate should have an NVQ Level 3 or completed engineering apprenticeship, strong drive system knowledge, ability to read drawings, and a Full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or an apprenticeship.
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, servicing and fault-finding.
• Good understanding of mechanical drive systems, bearings, gearboxes and components.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Experience using workshop tools and equipment.
• Strong practical problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative and manage workloads.
• Good communication skills and a flexible, positive attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities
