CAVU is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee the operational delivery of lounges and/or food & beverage units at Stansted Airport. You will ensure culinary excellence, strict health and safety compliance, and effective on-shift leadership to meet budget targets.

The role requires strong hospitality experience, staff management, and cost-control capabilities, with responsibilities spanning staffing, stock, and customer service in a high-demand environment.

Qualificações

• Solid hospitality background with track record in catering environments.
• Experience in managing catering teams, in-house or contracted.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and drive cost efficiencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard PC applications.
• Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team with fairness.
• Strong organisational skills with scheduling, delegation and prioritisation.
• Awareness of food hygiene practices and risk assessment principles.

Responsabilidades

• On-site senior manager on duty for lounges and/or F&B units, ensuring high standards and safety compliance.
• Manage day-to-day operations, staffing levels, and staff rotas.
• Oversee stock ordering, stock control, invoicing, and deliveries in line with policy.
• Ensure health & safety, food hygiene, and alcohol serving compliance.
• Handle complaints escalated on-site and drive customer experience improvements.
• Support kitchen and other departments to meet budget targets and operational goals.
• Perform administration tasks such as timesheets and absence records.
