Job summary

CAVU at Bristol Airport is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee lounge and F&B operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, hygiene, and regulatory compliance. You will lead on-shift teams, manage stock and deliveries, handle escalated complaints, and support budget targets.

The role requires practical hospitality leadership, proven budgeting experience, and strong IT skills in Microsoft Office. A customer-focused, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid background in hospitality with proven leadership.
• Experience managing catering teams or lounges.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and drive cost efficiencies.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office.
• Knowledge of food hygiene standards and health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Be the on-site senior manager for complaints in the lounge.
• Ensure food hygiene requirements are implemented.
• Manage staffing levels, rota planning, and daily operations.
• Oversee stock ordering, invoicing, and deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and alcohol service.
• Assist with rotas, timesheets, and absence administration.
• Address other management requests as needed.
