Job summary

CAVU, the on-site operator within MAG, is seeking an experienced Hospitality Operations Manager for our lounges and beverage units in the UK. You will manage day-to-day operations, lead a team, and drive service excellence in a high-volume environment.

You will ensure compliance with health and safety, food hygiene, and alcohol service, while delivering budgets and maintaining strong guest experiences in line with MAG standards.

Qualifications

• Hospitality leadership background with proven track record.
• Experience managing catering teams, either in-house or via contracted providers.
• Budget management experience with cost control and profit improvement.
• Strong IT literacy, including MS Office.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team with fair, empathetic leadership.
• Food hygiene knowledge (Level 3 or above) and risk assessment basics.

Responsibilities

• Being the on-site senior manager for the lounges and/or F&B units, handling escalations and ensuring service standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, food hygiene and alcohol service legislation.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and deployment based on business demand; oversee stock, invoicing, and deliveries.
• Oversee waste handling, safety and regulatory compliance for lounge operations.
• Assist with rotas, timesheets and absence administration; respond to management requests.
