Job summary

Sodexo Live! at London Stansted Airport – Emirates Lounge is hiring an Airport Lounge Chef to oversee the presentation and quality of all food and beverages within the Emirates lounge environment. You will ensure stock, hygiene, and display standards are met while maintaining guest satisfaction and team collaboration.

Responsibilities include training staff, following Emirates ratio guidelines, and communicating guest feedback to the lounge and Sodexo teams to drive service excellence.

Qualifications

• Essential chef and kitchen experience
• Motivated with keen attention to detail
• Able to take initiative within a team environment

Responsibilities

• Present and manage food and beverage presentation to spec and quality
• Maintain buffet stock levels and adhere to hygiene standards and HACCP
• Train service staff on food presentation and display
• Interact with lounge guests to collect feedback and communicate insights to supervisors

What you'll do

• Responsible for the presentation of all food and beverage, ensuring quality, quantity are consistently monitored, maintained and display is as per set specification.
• Where possible follow food ratio guidelines set out by Emirates are followed. Ensure buffet and stock levels of all food and beverage items are properly maintained and replenished regularly as required and in accordance with food and safety standards. Control and monitor hygiene standards as per HACCAP.
• Provide training and guidance to service staff on the presentation and display of food
• Interact with Lounge customers to gain feedback on service and product. Communicate finding to Lounge Supervisor / Lounge Manager / Emirates staff in a timely manner. Liaise with Sodexo and Emirates Lounge team for any irregularities and other important information that impact the lounge operations. Communicate product, service and customer issues to Sodexo and Emirates staff, so that corrective action can be taken in a timely manner.
