Job summary
MAG (Airports Group)–London Stansted Airport is seeking a Deskside Engineer to deliver hands-on IT support across the airport, maintaining productivity for colleagues and ensuring rapid resolution of IT issues.
The role covers desktops, laptops and mobile devices, plus administration of Microsoft 365 and Azure services, while delivering excellent customer service in a busy operational environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in deskside/IT support or service desk environments.
- Ability to provide hands-on IT support for desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
- Experience administering user accounts in Active Directory and familiarity with Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of Azure administration and device deployment tools like SCCM.
- Strong communication and customer-service orientation.
Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face technical support and issue resolution for end users across the airport.
- Support desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices and administer Microsoft 365/Azure services.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and OS issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Escalate issues to the Technical Support Team Leader when necessary.
- Ensure health and safety requirements are followed and contribute to a safe working environment.
