Job summary

City Calling is recruiting a reliable General Labourer to work at Bristol Airport. The role runs 11:00am to 7:00pm and involves assisting tradespeople, keeping site areas clean, and helping move materials safely.

You will support day-to-day construction site operations, maintain safety, and cooperate with store and materials control to keep work areas organised and efficient. DBS, CSCS, and right-to-work checks apply.

Qualifications

• Valid right to work in the UK.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Able to provide five years of checkable work history.
• Able to provide five years of residential address history.
• Satisfactory DBS check.
• Must be willing to undertake regular drug and alcohol testing.
• Previous construction site experience is preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labouring duties as directed by site management.
• Assist tradespeople with tasks and provide support where required.
• Support the movement and handling of materials across the site.
• Work closely with the Storeman / Materials Controller when required.
• Maintain clean and tidy work areas at all times.
• Remove waste and ensure materials are stored safely in designated areas.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Report any hazards, accidents or safety concerns to site management.
