The Export Airfreight Coordinator will own international airfreight shipments from collection to delivery, coordinating bookings, documentation and communications with overseas offices and agents.

• Previous experience within Export Airfreight Operations.
• Strong knowledge of export customs, documentation and airline processes.

Responsabilidades

• Manage export airfreight shipments from start to finish.
• Coordinate collections, airline bookings and transportation arrangements.
• Create airway bills and export documentation.
• Issue pre-alerts and communicate with overseas offices and agents.
• Track shipments and provide proactive updates to customers.
• Build strong relationships with airlines, carriers, agents and suppliers.
• Ensure all costs, revenue and shipment data are accurately entered into the operating system.
• Maintain customer SOPs and ensure customer-specific requirements are met.
• Support the delivery of excellent service levels and operational performance.
• Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep shipments moving smoothly.

We're now looking for an Export Airfreight Coordinator to join our growing Heathrow Airfreight team.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Export Airfreight Coordinator, you will take ownership of international airfreight shipments, ensuring they move efficiently and accurately from collection through to final delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing export airfreight shipments from start to finish
• Coordinating collections, airline bookings and transportation arrangements
• Creating airwaybills and export documentation
• Issuing pre-alerts and communicating with overseas offices and agents
• Tracking shipments and providing proactive updates to customers
• Building strong relationships with airlines, carriers, agents and suppliers
• Ensuring all costs, revenue and shipment data are accurately entered into the operating system
• Maintaining customer SOPs and ensuring customer-specific requirements are met
• Supporting the delivery of excellent service levels and operational performance
• Identifying and resolving issues quickly to keep shipments moving smoothly

What We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with candidates who have experience within airfreight forwarding and enjoy taking ownership of the customer journey.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience within Export Airfreight Operations
• Strong knowledge of export customs, documentation and airline processes
• Experience managing shipments from booking through to final delivery
• Confidence communicating with customers, overseas agents and suppliers
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong commercial awareness and numerical accuracy
• Experience using freight forwarding systems such as CargoWise (desirable)
• The ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
• A proactive and solution-focused approach
• A positive attitude and genuine team spirit
