Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Up to 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience on major road schemes or airfield projects.

Responsibilities

• Input constructability reviews to optimise construction sequencing, logistics, and methodology.
• Coordinate with engineering and design consultants to reflect construction requirements in design deliverables.
• Develop site layouts, temporary works strategies, logistics and phasing plans for construction in a live operational environment.
• Assist in developing overall construction execution plans, staffing strategies, and resource estimates.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) considerations are embedded in all aspects of design and planning.
• Draft key construction methodologies to support the planning process
• Maintain awareness of design evolution, scope changes, and their potential impacts on construction methods, costs, and schedules.
• Contribute to cost estimates, budgets, risk assessments, and progress reporting for construction scope.
• Coordinates with design on constructability issues
• Ensures the Zero Accident Philosophy is incorporated into all aspects of construction operations.
• Lead any assigned construction management resource, support the development of any such assigned resource; maintain standards, manage, motivate, coach and mentor as required.
