Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates civil/structural engineering work for a project, including designs, layouts, drawings, and specs.
• Designs and evaluates Civil/Structural components using Bechtel standards and procedures.
• Designs structures using advanced structural analysis.
• Prepares complex steel/concrete calculations and specifications.
• Analyzes conflicting design requirements and proposes solutions.
• Assesses unconventional materials and coordination needs.
• Prepares equipment and material specs, bid evaluations and recommendations.
• Prepares procurement and bid evaluation documents.
• Assists management in complying with civil/structural requirements.
