Job summary

Reed Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Survival Equipment Supervisor for our client, a leading international engineering and technology organisation. You will lead a specialist team responsible for the maintenance, inspection, testing, and certification of aircrew survival equipment to ensure regulatory compliance and operational readiness across the UK.

This permanent, full-time role is based onsite at MOD Boscombe Down, Wiltshire.

Qualifications

• Proven experience maintaining survival equipment or aircrew systems.
• Experience supervising technical teams in engineering or military environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of military engineering standards and maintenance procedures.
• Formal engineering training (RAF Trade Group 13 or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead a specialist survival equipment maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Oversee inspection, testing, servicing, and certification of survival and life support equipment.
• Drive team performance, productivity, and professional development.
• Coordinate workloads to meet operational objectives.
• Maintain accurate technical records and documentation.
