The Royal Air Force is seeking a Survivor Equipment Specialist to support aircrew survival by fitting and maintaining life-saving equipment across UK operations and potential overseas deployments.
You will work on survival equipment systems, parachutes, and related gear, ensuring readiness for flight operations and emergencies, with rotations that may involve international postings.
This role will be located anywhere in the UK and includes the potential of overseas service during exercise/operations.
Survival Equipment Specialists fit and repair the equipment that saves lives. They specialise in either Survival Equipment – fitted to aircraft – or individual Aircrew Equipment.
Maintain, test and repair cutting-edge aircrew equipment used in flight, and during aircraft emergencies
Pack, maintain and repair the parachutes used in ejection seats, and by airborne forces
Provide a key role aiding aircrew, and aircraft passenger survival both in the UK and when deployed overseas
