Job summary

Babcock is seeking an Aircraft Technician for on-site work at St Athan, near Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. You will support aircraft maintenance, servicing, and engineering activities to keep aircraft in peak condition.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:15–17:15, based on site. The successful candidate will work within a safety-critical environment and follow approved procedures and documentation.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret technical data and engineering documentation.
• Experience working in aircraft maintenance or aviation engineering.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders and team members effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support aircraft engineering, maintenance and servicing activities.
• Prepare aircraft for daily flying operations and operational requirements.
• Carry out ground handling activities including fuel and oil replenishment.
• Assist with scheduled and corrective maintenance in line with procedures.
• Follow maintenance data and documentation to support safe operations.
