Job summary

Babcock is seeking an Aircraft Technician to support aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance, and scheduled servicing at St Athan, near Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. The role is full-time, on-site, with 40 hours per week, 08:15–17:15, Monday to Friday.

You will follow technical data and maintenance documentation, assist with ground handling, and work in a safety-critical environment while pursuing professional development and a Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) clearance where required.

Qualifications

• Interpreting technical data and engineering documentation.
• Working within an aircraft maintenance or aviation engineering environment.
• Engaging effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Responsibilities

• Supporting aircraft engineering, maintenance and servicing activities.
• Preparing aircraft for daily flying operations and operational requirements.
• Carrying out ground handling activities, including fuel and oil replenishment.
• Assisting with scheduled and corrective maintenance in line with procedures.
• Following technical data and maintenance documentation to support safe operations.
