Job summary

Airbus Helicopters UK Ltd at RAF Valley seeks an Aircraft Refueller/Handler to position and fuel aircraft to support Flight Operations and Base Maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and efficient refuelling in a busy environment, with occasional travel to Shawbury if needed.

Essential experience includes aircraft refuelling and handling, strong H&S awareness, and the ability to support Flight Operations. Desirable experience includes helicopter refuelling with rotors running.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E and ADR with CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Up-to-date H&S knowledge for HAZMAT and helicopter operations.

Responsibilities

• Refuel aircraft and handle refuelling in accordance with JIG regulations and safety requirements.
• Maintain Health and Safety at all times and follow internal policy.
• Supply fuel to aircraft by tanker vehicles and ensure correct quantity is delivered.
• Operate according to JIG, IATA, Airport, Health & Safety, HM Customs and ASIG regulations.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects and incidents as required.
• Support Flight Operations and Base Maintenance activities as directed.
