Job summary

Meritus in Cardiff is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join a growing Part 145 maintenance operation, supporting a range of commercial aircraft types. You will work with B1 licensed engineers, assisting with inspections, storage programmes and maintenance checks, while developing through a clear training pathway toward Part-66 licensing.

Qualifications

Demonstrable aircraft maintenance experience.
Good understanding of aircraft maintenance principles and industry best practice.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Support B1 Licensed Engineers with scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities.
Assist with aircraft arrival inspections, storage programmes and maintenance checks.
Read and interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMMs) and Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPCs).
Ensure maintenance tasks comply with approved procedures and company approvals.
Assist with aircraft and engine preservation activities, including engine wrapping and storage preparation.
Raise safety concerns, defects or non-conformities to leadership.
Maintain tools and equipment to the required standard; manage inventory checks.
