Meritus Talent in Cardiff is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join a growing Part 145 maintenance operation, supporting a range of commercial aircraft types.

You will work alongside B1 licensed engineers, assisting with arrivals inspections, storage programmes, maintenance checks and preservation activities, with training toward Part-66 Category A Licence and progression to a B Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Support B1 Licensed Engineers with scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities.
• Assist with aircraft arrival inspections, storage programmes and maintenance checks.
• Read and interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMMs) and Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPCs), with further training provided.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with approved procedures and company approvals.
• Assist with aircraft and engine preservation activities, including engine wrapping and storage preparation.
• Raise any safety concerns, damage, defects or non-conformities to the maintenance leadership team.
• Actively participate in daily operational reviews and team briefings.
• Maintain tools and equipment to the required standard, including routine tooling inventory checks.
• Promote high standards of housekeeping, FOD prevention and workplace safety.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, quality and productivity.
• Contribute towards operational KPIs across safety, quality and delivery performance.
• Undertake training to operate specialist equipment and support aircraft towing activities.
• Support wider maintenance activities as required by the business.
