Job summary

Meritus in South Wales is seeking an experienced EASA Part-66 B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join a growing maintenance operation. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a range of commercial aircraft, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to regulatory standards.

This hands-on role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• EASA Part-66 B1 Licence required.
• Type ratings including A330, A320 family and/or 737 family.
• Recent demonstrable aircraft maintenance experience on relevant aircraft types.
• Experience working in a Part-145 maintenance environment.
• Strong understanding of safety, compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance activities per approved data, procedures and customer requirements.
• Certify maintenance tasks within the scope of your licence and approvals.
• Ensure maintenance documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Support, guide and supervise engineers, technicians and mechanics as required.
• Liaise with management regarding progress, manpower requirements and priorities.
• Complete maintenance activities efficiently while upholding safety, quality and compliance.
• Promote effective task control, housekeeping standards and FOD prevention.
• Identify opportunities to improve working practices and operational efficiency.
• Support aircraft storage, modification programmes, defect rectification, engine removals and other maintenance activities as required.
