Job summary

DHL Air (UK) Ltd is seeking Licenced Aircraft Engineers to join the EMA-based Maintenance team. Candidates should hold UK B1/B2 or Part 66 A licences, with experience on relevant aircraft; training will be provided.

You will work a rotating day/night roster and contribute to the safe, timely maintenance of the DHL fleet on site at EMA.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Aircraft Engineer/Mechanic with proven field experience.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to prioritise work.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with accuracy.
  • Good MS Office skills; attention to detail and policy adherence.
  • Knowledge of TRAX and/or AMOS or similar maintenance systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out safe, timely maintenance on the DHL fleet.
  • Follow procedures and report findings to supervisors.
  • Maintain documentation and compliance with maintenance standards.

Work Location:EMA Cargo West, East Midlands Airport, Derby, DE74 2TR

Hours: Full time - Rotating day/night roster, with weekend shifts included

DHL Air (UK) Ltd is the largest all-cargo air carrier in the UK, operating a fleet of B757-200, B767-300 and B777-200 aircraft on worldwide operations. Part of the DHL Express team with our headquarters at East Midlands Airport, we wish to enhance the team to deliver our customer promise of; Excellence, Simply Delivered.We are now looking to recruit additional Licenced Aircraft Engineers and 'A' Licence Mechanics to join our Maintenance team based at EMA.

The Role:

The successful candidates will hold either a UK issued B1/B2 licence with experience of the some of the following types; B757 RB211, A300-600, B767 CF6, B777 GE90 and A330 RR Trent, or a UK CAA Part 66 'A' Licence with 12 months of Line Maintenance certifying experience. Experience on our aircraft types is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidates. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor/Station Supervisor, you will be a member of a team responsible for the safe and timely maintenance of the DHL fleet.

The Requirements:
  • You are a Licenced Aircraft Engineer / Mechanic with proven experience.
  • You will be self-motivated, organised and have the ability to prioritise your own workload.
  • You will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • The ability to multi task and work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of TRAX and/or AMOS or a similar computer based maintenance system would be an advantage.
