Job summary

West Atlantic UK Ltd seeks experienced UK CAA B1 or B2 licensed Line Engineers for EMA with a Week On / Week Off roster. Join a 24/7 operation to certify maintenance and support line activities at East Midlands Airport.

You will work in a highly skilled team, carrying out maintenance, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate documentation while supporting the UK network and AOG recovery as required.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted UK CAA B1 or B2 Licence.
• Type rating on B737 NG and/or B737 Classic.
• Minimum 5 years' aviation engineering experience.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Certifying maintenance activities to safety and regulatory standards.
• Support line maintenance at EMA and wider UK network.
• Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance, including AOG recovery.
• Ensure accurate technical documentation and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Management, Planning, and Logistics teams.
• Promote a strong safety culture and high engineering standards.

Are you an experienced UK CAA B1 or B2 Licensed Engineer looking for your next opportunity with a leading cargo aviation operation?

We're seeking a B1 and B2 Line Engineers to join our team at East Midlands Airport (EMA), playing a key role in supporting our growing UK network and ensuring our aircraft remain safe, compliant, and operational.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly experienced engineering team where you'll have the autonomy to make decisions, certify maintenance work, and contribute directly to the success of a 24/7 flying operation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Certifying maintenance activities and ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and regulatory standards.
• Supporting line maintenance operations at EMA and across the wider UK network.
• Carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance activities, including AOG recovery support when required.
• Ensuring technical documentation, work orders and maintenance records are accurately completed.
• Working closely with Maintenance Management, Planning and Logistics teams to maintain operational performance.
• Promoting a strong safety culture and maintaining the highest engineering standards.

What We're Looking For

• Unrestricted UK CAA B1 or B2 Licence (Dual B1/B2 advantageous)
• Type rating on B737 NG and/or B737 Classic
• Minimum 5 years' aviation engineering experience
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
