We are now looking to recruit additional Licenced Aircraft Engineers and 'A' Licence Mechanics to join our Maintenance team based at EMA.
The successful candidates will hold either a UK issued B1/B2 licence with experience of the some of the following types; B757 RB211, A300-600, B767 CF6, B777 GE90 and A330 RR Trent, or a UK CAA Part 66 'A' Licence with 12 months of Line Maintenance certifying experience. Experience on our aircraft types is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidates.
Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor/Station Supervisor, you will be a member of a team responsible for the safe and timely maintenance of the DHL fleet.
As a Licenced Aircraft Engineer / Mechanic you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with regulatory airworthiness standards for all contracted airlines operating for DHL operating within DHL Air (UK) Ltd area of responsibility. This is a vital job in ensuring that the aircraft remain serviceable and depart on time whilst minimising the number of carried forward defects.
