Job summary

British Airways Engineering offers a four-year Licensed Aircraft Engineer Apprenticeship in Glasgow, combining college learning with hands-on shopfloor experience. You'll start with foundation skills and progress through to licensing and type approval under the guidance of experienced engineers.

The programme follows CAA Part-66 licensing requirements, with years 5-7+ focused on the licensing pathway and aircraft type approval.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and maths or equivalent required.
• Preference for Maths/Physics/Engineering subjects at A‑level or Higher.
• Equivalent Level 3 qualification accepted for entry.
• Right to live and work in the UK and attendance readiness.
