Valoris Group is seeking a Heat Pump Manager / Lead Engineer to launch and lead its new ASHP division. Flexible office base with site visits and home working; you'll oversee end-to-end ASHP projects from planning to installation, while guiding a growing subcontractor network.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic input into service offerings, ensuring quality, compliance and customer satisfaction across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in air source heat pump installations.
• Strong technical knowledge of domestic heating systems.
• Confident in managing subcontractors and multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Leadership experience or readiness for a senior role.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all ASHP installations from planning to commissioning.
• Manage subcontractors and on-site teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Carry out on-site inspections to monitor progress and standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Provide guidance on materials, technology, and efficient practices.
• Act as technical lead, remaining hands-on when required.

The Opportunity:

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Heat Pump Engineer ready to take the next step. Youll play a pivotal role in launching and leading the companys new ASHP department, managing the full lifecycle of projectsfrom planning to installation and sign-off.

You’ll have real influence to shape how the division is structured, grow a subcontractor network, and help build a high-quality, scalable service offering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all ASHP installations from initial planning to final commissioning
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and on-site teams
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards
• Carry out on-site inspections to monitor progress and standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline project delivery and customer satisfaction
• Contribute to the departments long-term strategy and growth
• Act as the technical lead, remaining hands-on when required
• Provide guidance on materials, technology, and efficient working practices

What Youll Need:

• Proven experience in air source heat pump installations
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of domestic heating systems
• Confident managing subcontractors and overseeing multiple projects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Previous leadership experience or a readiness to step into a senior/managerial role
• Full UK driving licence
