Air Conditioning Engineer - Heat Pump Installation

Sussex & Kent | £48,000 DOE + Unlimited Overtime + Company Van

Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking to move into the growing domestic heat pump market?

We're looking for an experienced AC Engineer to join an established team, carrying out domestic heat pump installations across Sussex and Kent, with some work across London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AC Engineer who already has heat pump installation experience, or someone with a strong refrigeration and air conditioning background looking to move into renewable heating.

The role is installation-focused, with full training and ongoing development available for the right engineer.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the installation of domestic air source heat pump systems, working on projects from initial installation through to completion and commissioning.

You'll be responsible for:

• Installing domestic air source heat pump systems.
• Installing associated pipework, valves, pumps and components.
• Carrying out refrigeration and electrical connections where qualified.
• Installing and connecting heating system components.
• Commissioning newly installed heat pump systems.
• Working from installation plans, schematics and manufacturers' instructions.
• Carrying out testing and ensuring systems are operating correctly.
• Completing installation paperwork and relevant documentation.
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
• Working safely and in line with company procedures.
• Travelling across Sussex and Kent, with some London work.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working as an Air Conditioning Engineer.
• Strong installation experience within air conditioning or refrigeration.
• F-Gas qualification.
• Previous domestic heat pump installation experience would be highly advantageous.
• Experience with ASHP installation and commissioning would be beneficial.Good understanding of refrigeration, heating and associated systems.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and installation plans.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good customer-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take pride in your workmanship.
