Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a diligent logistics professional in the United Kingdom to manage air import shipments from start to finish, coordinating with customers, airlines, brokers and overseas offices to deliver excellent service while meeting KPIs.

You will handle shipment documentation, maintain internal records, track progress and resolve issues promptly, liaising with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure compliant, timely delivery and accurate invoicing.

Qualifications

• Manage air import shipments end-to-end.
• Prepare and file shipment documentation accurately.
• Communicate with customers and partners to ensure service quality.
• Aim to meet departmental KPIs and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage air import shipments from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and compliant process.
• Accurately process shipment documentation and maintain records within internal systems.
• Monitor and track shipments, providing updates and resolving any issues promptly.
• Liaise with customers, airlines, brokers, transport providers and overseas offices to ensure excellent customer service.
• Arrange customs documentation and ensure timely delivery of freight.
• Prepare accurate customer and supplier invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements and relevant industry regulations.
• Work towards departmental KPIs and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity and continuous learning.
