Future Select Limited is seeking an experienced Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer to join our South East England team. The role covers servicing, damper testing, duct hygiene, and site compliance work, with travel to client sites as required.

You will log tests, identify remedial works, and produce detailed technical reports while working within a team to deliver high standards. Training and benefits accompany a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer.
• BESA ticket and/or Fire Damper Testing ticket preferred.
• Knowledge of TR19 and BS9999 guidelines.
• Willing to travel across the South East.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT literacy.

Responsabilités

• Attending client sites to service ductwork, ventilation and fire dampers.
• Fire damper logging and testing.
• Identifying remedial works on fire dampers and ductwork cleans.
• Fitting access doors and AHU cleans.
• Producing detailed technical reports and working within teams.

Job Title: Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer
Location: Grays, Essex
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £38k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued company growth, our client is recruiting for a multi-skilled Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer to join their team. They are seeking someone in the South East of England, ideally with good access to the M25. You will be responsible for performing TR19 and BS9999 compliance tasks, including: ductwork cleans, fitting access doors and testing of fire dampers. Our client is a privately-owned outfit, with a busy portfolio of commercial, industrial and food outlet contracts. Experience / Qualifications:

• – Proven experience working as an Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer
• – Ideally will hold industry-relevant qualifications, including: BESA ticket and / or Fire Damper Testing ticket
• – Excellent industry technical knowledge, including: TR19 and BS9999 guidelines
• – Flexible to travel in line with company needs
• – Good literacy and numeracy skills
• – Proficient using IT software

The Role:

• – Attending client sites to perform a range of servicing and preventative maintenance on ductwork, ventilation and fire dampers
• – Fire damper logging and testing
• – Identifying any required remedial works on fire dampers
• – Ductwork, ventilation, kitchen extract and canopy cleans
• – Fitting access doors
• – AHU cleans
• – Taking pre and post work photographs
• – Producing detailed technical reports
• – Working within teams to complete works
