Job summary

Loom Talent are partnering with a leading global freight forwarding business in Feltham to recruit an Air Freight Tender & Pricing Executive. The role centers on driving commercial growth through competitive pricing, tenders and tailored international freight solutions.

You will manage RFQs, develop pricing across international lanes, and negotiate with airlines and logistics partners, supporting the Sales team and ensuring pricing accuracy with Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Air Freight Pricing, Tender Management or Commercial Freight Forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of international air freight operations and airline pricing structures.
• Experience preparing RFQs, tenders and customer pricing proposals.
• Excellent Excel skills and pricing model experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with freight management or rate management systems would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage air freight RFQs, tenders and pricing submissions from enquiry through to final proposal.
• Develop competitive and commercially sustainable air freight pricing across international trade lanes.
• Source and negotiate rates with airlines, overseas agents and global logistics partners.
• Prepare accurate air freight quotations, including freight charges, handling costs and surcharges.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to support new business opportunities and customer retention.
• Work closely with Air Freight Operations to validate routing, capacity, service capabilities and pricing accuracy.
• Maintain pricing databases, rate sheets and commercial cost models.
• Conduct margin analysis and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Monitor airline market conditions, capacity trends and pricing developments.
• Tracking tender performance and supporting handover of new business to Operations.

The Role

As Air Freight Tender & Pricing Executive, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing Air Freight RFQs, tenders and customer pricing submissions from initial enquiry through to final proposal.

• Developing competitive and commercially sustainable air freight pricing across international trade lanes.

• Sourcing and negotiating rates with airlines, overseas agents and global logistics partners.

About You

We're keen to speak with commercially minded air freight professionals who demonstrate:

• Previous experience in Air Freight Pricing, Tender Management, Procurement or Commercial Freight Forwarding.

• Strong knowledge of international air freight operations, airline pricing structures and global trade lanes.

• Experience preparing RFQs, tenders and customer pricing proposals.

• Confidence negotiating with airlines, overseas agents and logistics partners.

• Excellent commercial awareness, analytical ability and attention to detail.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience managing pricing models.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.

• Experience with freight management or rate management systems would be advantageous.
