Job summary

WR Logistics in London Heathrow is seeking an experienced Air Export Operator to manage international air export shipments from booking through final departure, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.

You will work in a team-focused environment within a global freight forwarding business, supporting ongoing growth and providing proactive shipment updates and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within Air Export Freight Forwarding is essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are required.
• Ability to prioritise multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end Air Export shipments.
• Liaise with airlines, overseas offices, hauliers and customers.
• Prepare and check export documentation including MAWBs, HAWBs and customs documentation.
• Arrange airline bookings and monitor shipment progress.
• Ensure all customs and compliance requirements are met.
• Communicate proactively with customers, providing regular shipment updates.
• Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.
• Process job costing, invoicing and maintain accurate shipment records.
• Build strong relationships with customers and overseas partners.

Location: London Heathrow

Salary: Up to £38,000 (DOE)

Monday - Friday

Air Export Operator required for a global freight forwarding business based in the Heathrow area.

The Role

• Experience using a freight forwarding system such as CargoWise, ASM Sequoia or similar would be advantageous.
