Job summary

Helsing seeks a Programme Manager, Air, to own the UK air programme delivery plan, align with industry partners and defence customers, and translate operational needs into engineering priorities. You will brief senior stakeholders and represent the programme at high-level forums, deputising for the Senior Programme Manager when required.

Qualifications

• Operational air-power experience in planning, command and execution.
• Delivered a complex programme with external industry or government partners.
• Translate operational requirements into technical priorities for engineers.
• Familiar with UK defence acquisition, ITE and airworthiness processes.
• Strong credibility presenting to senior defence and industry stakeholders.
• Eligible to hold UK security clearance and based in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Act as daily link between Helsing and partner engineering teams to resolve blockers.
• Manage customer relationships and convert requirements into a prioritised backlog.
• Own the delivery plan, milestones and cross-partner dependencies.
• Brief senior military and industry stakeholders on programme status and risk.
• Explain operational context to engineers in practical terms.
• Track delivery of capability to users and progress toward deployment.
