Job summary

Helsing GmbH is seeking a Programme Manager for its Land domain to run a workstream within a complex defence programme. You will own working-level relationships with customers and partners and actively support commercial outreach by identifying opportunities as they emerge.

You will coordinate across Helsing's engineering, commercial and operational functions, pulling capabilities into your workstream at the right moment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering into UK defence programmes.
• Knowledge of the UK MoD Acquisition Lifecycle.
• Experience leading live trials, field demonstrations, or range tests.
• Familiarity with Defence Safety Case management and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end technical programme delivery with master schedules, critical path analyses, and milestones.
• Navigate UK MoD gated reviews (DE&S, CADMID cycle, ASG) and ensure criteria are met.
• Plan and lead live customer trials, range tests, and field demonstrations.
• Oversee Safety Case management and qualification testing workflows per Def Stan 00-035 and MIL-STD-810.
• Manage Tier 1/2 hardware subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery and ITAR compliance.
• Maintain risk and opportunity registers and drive mitigation actions.
• Provide data-driven progress reporting and dashboards to senior leadership and customers.
