Sphere Solutions is seeking an Air Conditioning & Maintenance Mate to support engineers on commercial and industrial sites across South Wales and the West. The role suits a practical or hands-on person looking to develop air conditioning and building services skills.

You will assist with installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and chiller systems, ensuring high workmanship and customer service standards are maintained.

Competenze

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Based within South Wales or the West and able to travel.
• CSCS card and driving licence beneficial.

Mansioni

• Assist engineers with planned maintenance, installation preparation and repair support on air conditioning and building services equipment.
• Carry out routine non-refrigerant maintenance, such as cleaning or replacing accessible filters, cleaning grilles and external surfaces, and checking condensate trays and drains, following training and safe isolation procedures.
• Prepare work areas, move equipment safely, organise tools and materials, and fit brackets, supports and containment as directed.
• Complete visual condition checks and report damage, unusual noise, water leaks or other concerns to the lead engineer.
• Assist with general plantroom and mechanical maintenance tasks within training, competence and authorisation.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy, complete basic job records and photographs, and communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Follow site rules, risk assessments, method statements and instructions from the supervising engineer.
