Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to service, maintain and repair split systems, VRV/VRF and heat pumps across West Wales including Swansea and surrounding towns. The role requires practical experience with air conditioning equipment, relevant F-Gas/ODS qualifications, a full UK driving licence, and willingness to participate in an on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a maintenance or facilities management environment.
• Qualifications such as F-Gas and ODS regulations, a time-served apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent (level 1,2, or 3 is accepted)
• Practical experience maintaining and repairing air conditioning equipment.
• A full, current UK driving licence.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair split air conditioning systems, VRV and VRF systems, and heat pumps.
• Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs to ensure equipment remains safe and operational.
• Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, including inspection reports and remedial work records.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date service and maintenance logs.
• Work on specific refrigeration equipment when required, including chilled cabinets, multidecks and ice machines.

ROLE: Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer SALARY: Up to £45,000 per annum. LOCATION: Swansea, Carmarthen, Llanelli, Pembrokeshire, Aberystwyth and surrounding areas across West Wales
