Job summary

BT Facilities Services is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer to support reactive and planned maintenance across multiple sites. You will work under the Technical Supervisor to ensure safe, compliant operation of HVAC systems and related equipment.

The role requires an apprenticeship in AC/refrigeration with practical experience, and City & Guilds 2079 Level 2 F-Gas certification. You will perform risk assessments, diagnostics, and report generation while contributing to health and safety

Qualifications

• Must have completed an apprenticeship or equivalent formal training in air conditioning and refrigeration with practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems and undertake PPM routines.
• Ensure repairs and installations comply with regulations.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment to current standards.
• Complete risk assessments for reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose faults using manuals and drawings.
• Maintain Site Log Books and produce reports for the Technical Supervisor.
• Manage stock levels of spares and participate in Out of Hours rota.
