Job summary

CBRE is seeking an AC Engineer to support reactive and planned maintenance of building systems across multiple sites, under the Technical Supervisor. You will follow safe working practices and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems, undertaking PPM routines and ensuring repairs meet regulations.

The role requires diagnosing faults, calibrating test equipment, completing risk assessments, and producing reports for supervision.

Qualifications

Must have completed an apprenticeship or equivalent in air conditioning and refrigeration with practical experience.
City & Guilds 2079 Level 2 Award in F Gas and ODS Regulations: Category 1 or equivalent.
Desirable Level 3 NVQ diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Commercial & Industrial).
PASMA, IPAF, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, Confined space working, Roof Working.

Responsibilities

Maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems and undertake PPM routines as assigned.
Ensure all repairs and installations comply with applicable regulations and standards.
Verify test equipment is calibrated and maintained to current regulations.
Produce risk assessments for maintenance tasks to ensure safety at all times.
Diagnose faults and perform repairs using manufacturer manuals and drawings.
Update Site Log Books and prepare reports for the Technical Supervisor.
Maintain stock levels of spares and participate in emergency call-out rotas.
Assist in Control of Works as AP/CP in cluster and support team deliverables.
