Job summary

Branta Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to cover a Midlands portfolio of commercial properties and retail stores across Central England. This mobile role involves PPM, reactive maintenance, fault-finding and minor repairs on a range of AC systems, with a sensible geographical patch and support from an experienced supervisor.

Qualifications

• F‑Gas 2079 is essential.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in AC & Refrigeration preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostics experience in commercial/FM environments.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repair of AC systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete first‑time fixes.
• Work across a regional patch independently.

Air Conditioning Engineer - Midlands

£37,000 - £47,000 + Van + Fuel Card + Overtime + Call‑Out + bonus + medical

Permanent | Full‑Time | Mobile Role

We're looking for experienced Air Conditioning Engineers to support a busy portfolio of commercial properties and retail stores amongst other sites across Central England. You will be assigned a sensible geographical patch working alongside a team of engineers supported by an experienced supervisor and management. This is a mobile role carrying out PPM, reactive maintenance, fault‑finding and minor repairs on a range of commercial AC systems. Any experience with cellar coolers and refrigeration would be a welcome bonus

The Role

• Service, maintenance and repair of AC systems
• VRV/VRF, splits, multi‑splits, some AHUs and FCUs
• Diagnosing faults and completing first‑time fixes
• Working independently across a regional patch
• Completing compliance paperwork and job reports
• Participating in a call‑out rota (enhanced rates)

What You'll Need
