Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is seeking an experienced AC Engineer to work across the M25 and Home Counties in a permanent mobile role. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on air conditioning systems, fault finding on split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs and ventilation, and complete electronic job sheets.

The role includes door-to-door travel with a company van for personal use, overtime opportunities, a call‑out rota, and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as AC Engineer in commercial building maintenance.
• F-Gas Category 1 qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance of air conditioning systems.
• Fault finding, servicing and repairs on a range of AC equipment.
• Working on split systems, VRV/VRF, VRF, AHUs, FCUs and ventilation systems.
• Completing statutory inspections and routine maintenance.
• Accurately completing electronic job sheets and service reports.
• Providing excellent customer service while working across multiple commercial sites.
• Covering a varied portfolio of commercial buildings throughout the M25 and Home Counties.

Are you an experienced AC Engineer looking for your next role in commercial building maintenance?

We're recruiting for a skilled AC Engineer to join a growing mobile engineering team covering commercial sites across the M25 and Home Counties. This is a permanent position offering door-to-door travel, a company van with personal use, excellent benefits, and genuine career progression.

The Role

• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance of air conditioning systems

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an AC Engineer, Air Conditioning Engineer or HVAC Engineer
• F-Gas Category 1 qualification
• Experience working within commercial building maintenance or facilities management
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable using an iPad or PDA to complete job reports
• Full UK Driving Licence
