Job summary

JLL is seeking a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to service and maintain HVAC systems on-site for Rolls-Royce at Bristol. You will handle a varied set of systems and provide professional service to a high-profile client.

The role involves completing PPMs, fault-finding, and occasional installations or retrofits, with a scheduled callout rota and out-of-hours work as required. A strong mechanical/electrical background and FGAS compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• C&G 2079 Cat1 is required.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• F-Gas certification is essential.
• Good mechanical and electrical background.
• Knowledge of building fabric and basic fabric repairs.
• Health and safety obligations in maintenance.
• Willing to work out of hours and on a rota.
• UK driving licence and IT basic skills (Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete PPMs and reactive works as scheduled.
• Carry out installations and retrofits or system replacements.
• Troubleshoot and fault-find on air conditioning systems.
• Produce quotations for remedial works after visits.
• Work on splits, VRFs, AHUs, DX systems and some central plant.
• Work independently or with team members as needed.
• Complete FGAS paperwork and update client logbooks.
• Join the Out of Hours Call Out rota.

Hours: 40hrs Monday to Friday (day shift)

Role Summary

We are looking for a qualified and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out service maintenance works on Rolls-Royce sit in Bristol. The successful candidate will provide a professional service to our client working on a varied selection of Air Conditioning systems.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Attend and complete PPMs & Reactive works as scheduled including breakdowns.
• Have install experience (retrofit/system replacements).
• Troubleshooting/ Fault finding on all A/C systems.
• To produce quotations for works /remedials following service visits.
• To work on Splits, VRFS, AHUs and DX systems and some Central Plant.
• To be able to work alone and with other team members when necessary.
• Complete all FGAS paperwork on sites and update logbooks in client premises.
• To be part of the Out of Hours Call Out Rota.

Essential Qualifications And Experience

• C&G 2079 Cat1
• NVQ Level 3 or similar
• F-Gas
• Good Mechanical & Electrical Background
• Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety obligations with regards to maintenance activities
• Must be prepared to work out of hours when required and on a scheduled callout rota
• Have good communication and organisation skills
• UK Driving License
• Good understanding of IT packages including Outlook, Word etc
