Job summary

A leading air conditioning solutions provider in the London area is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer. Responsible for installation, maintenance, and servicing of various air conditioning systems including air source heat pumps. Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong understanding of relevant procedures.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning systems.
• Conduct site surveys to determine system requirements.
• Complete job reports and ensure they meet industry standards.
• Ensuring all installations and repairs meet industry regulations, health and safety standards, and customer expectations.
• Providing advice and recommendations to clients on energy-efficient solutions and system optimizations.
• Completing job reports, service records, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintaining a high standard of customer service and communication.
• Managing tools, equipment, and van stock effectively and ensuring it is well-maintained.
• Participating in an on-call rota for emergency breakdowns (if applicable).
• Assisting in stock management and ordering of parts as required.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and well-organizedAir ConditioningEngineerto join our dynamic team. As an Air ConditioningEngineerat JP Air Conditioning, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning systems, including air source heat pumps, for a wide range of clients across the London and M25 area. In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone who demonstrates strong administrative skills to ensure accurate reporting and efficientjobtracking. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment while providing excellent customer service to our growing client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, and maintenance of a variety of air conditioning systems (split systems, VRF/VRV, ducted systems, and air source heat pumps).
• Conducting site surveys and assessments to determine air conditioning system requirements.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in air conditioning and air source heat pump systems.
• Ensuring all installations and repairs meet industry regulations, health and safety standards, and customer expectations.
• Providing advice and recommendations to clients on energy-efficient solutions and system optimizations.
• Completingjobreports, service records, and documentation accurately and on time, ensuring all work is logged and tracked in the company’s administration systems.
• Maintaining a high standard of customer service and communication.
• Managing tools, equipment, and van stock effectively and ensuring it is well-maintained.
• Participating in an on-call rota for emergency breakdowns (if applicable).
• Assisting in stock management and ordering of parts as required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Air ConditioningEngineerwith a strong understanding of installation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Experience withair source heat pumpsis essential.
• Relevant qualifications such as F-Gas certification, City & Guilds 2079, or equivalent.
• Full UK driving license (van provided).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Experience working with a wide range of air conditioning brands and systems.
• Strong administration skills, including the ability to complete accuratejobreports, manage inventory, and keep accurate records.
• Proficient in using computers and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office,jobmanagement software).
• Additional qualifications or experience with heating systems, refrigeration, or ventilation.
• Knowledge of control systems and building management systems (BMS).
• Experience with installation and servicing of larger-scale commercial HVAC systems.
• Experience with inventory management or parts ordering.
