Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer to service, maintain and install a range of HVAC systems across Surrey and surrounding counties. The role covers domestic and commercial sites, with a focus on balancing service quality and work-life balance.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of field experience, NVQ Level 2 (or City & Guilds equivalent) in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, and F-Gas 2079 certification. A full UK driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and installation on a range of air conditioning equipment.
• Based within commutable distance of patch, e.g. within 45mins of Guildford
• Full UK driving license
• F-Gas and NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in air conditioning

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, breakdown and fault-finding on air conditioning equipment including VRV/VRF, splits and multi-splits.
• Perform some installation work where required across domestic and commercial sites.
• Balance workload with no mandatory call-out rota and potential voluntary overtime.

Salary: GBP40000 - GBP48000 per annum + No mandatory call out rota, van, fuel card

Position: Air Conditioning Engineer

Location: Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire, West Sussex

Salary: £40,000 to £48,000

Air Conditioning Engineer required, for our client, a HVAC services provider based in Surrey, who operate across the Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex areas. The Air Conditioning Engineer will ideally be an all-rounder, as they will be responsible for reactive and planned service and maintenance across both domestic and commercial sites, as well as some installation works. Sites will range from large domestic housing, to commercial sites such as offices, schools and hotels etc.

The Air Conditioning engineer will be performing service, maintenance, breakdown and fault-finding tasks on & Air Conditioning equipment such as VRV’s, VRF’s Splits and Multi-splits, as well as small installations. There is no call out rota or extensive overtime, so this would suit a time served engineer, who is looking for a work life balance.

It is expected that the Air Conditioning Engineer will have proven experience within the HVAC industry and hold recognised qualifications and certifications such as an NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and refrigeration or the City and Guilds equivalent as well as F-Gas 2079 or Safe Handling of Refrigerants.
