Job summary

Critical Resource Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to service and maintain commercial systems across a growing cooling division in the UK. You’ll work across VRV/VRF and split systems, with exposure to critical cooling equipment, CRAC units and chillers as you progress.

The role offers a competitive basic salary (£50,000), a company van, pension, ongoing technical training and clear career progression, plus the opportunity to earn an annual bonus and overtime.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good knowledge of VRV/VRF, splits and multi-splits; CRAC units and chillers advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Focus on VRV/VRF and split systems initially.
• Progress to CRAC units and chillers as you develop.
• Collaborate with the team on critical cooling projects.

The role

The majority of your work will initially focus on VRV/VRF and split systems, with the opportunity to broaden your experience across more specialist critical cooling equipment as you develop within the business.

What they’re looking for

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning systems


• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills


• Good working knowledge of VRV/VRF, splits and multi-splits


• Experience with CRAC units or chillers would be advantageous but isn’t essential


• Good communication skills and a professional approach


• City & Guilds / NVQ in Refrigeration & AC (preferred)


• F-Gas qualification (essential)
