Job summary

An established HVAC contractor in the Cambridge/Peterborough region is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join its engineering team. You will handle installation, commissioning, service, maintenance and fault finding on air conditioning and ventilation systems across commercial environments.

You will work independently on customer sites, diagnose faults, carry out planned and reactive maintenance, and support new installations.

Qualifications

• Experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong installation and maintenance background.
• Confident in service, fault finding, repairs and commissioning.
• Experience working on air conditioning, ventilation and associated HVAC equipment.
• Relevant technical qualifications in air conditioning, refrigeration or HVAC.
• Able to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications.
• Comfortable working independently and completing technical service reports.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away when required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and maintain air conditioning and ventilation systems across various sites.
• Diagnose faults and carry out reactive and planned maintenance.
• Support new installations and commissioning activities.
• Produce clear technical service reports and communicate with customers.

Salary: GBP40000 - GBP50000 per annum

An established specialist HVAC contractor is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join its engineering team in the Cambridge/Peterborough region. The role covers installation, commissioning, service, maintenance and fault finding on air conditioning and ventilation systems across a range of commercial and specialist environments.

You will work independently across customer sites, diagnosing faults, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and supporting new installations and commissioning. The business delivers a broad range of HVAC solutions, with opportunities to develop technical experience across different systems and applications.
