Ventaco is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team in Epsom. You will carry out high-quality domestic and commercial installations across Surrey and South London, from initial install through commissioning and handover.

The role involves installing split, multi‑split and VRV/VRF systems, testing and commissioning, plus ductwork and associated work on site. You will work independently and within a team while upholding high standards.

Qualifications

Experience in air conditioning installation for domestic and commercial projects.
Proven ability to install and commission split, multi‑split and VRV/VRF systems.
Strong health and safety awareness and site discipline.
Good communication skills and customer facing professionalism.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with ductwork installation and associated fittings.

Responsibilities

Install split, multi‑split and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems.
Carry out domestic and commercial air conditioning installations.
Commission, test and set up newly installed systems.
Install pipework, condensate drainage, cabling and related equipment.
Read site plans and installation requirements accurately.
Liaise professionally with customers, site contacts and trades.
Diagnose and resolve installation issues and ensure high workmanship.
Follow company procedures and health and safety rules.
Support other engineers and install team members as needed.
May perform ductwork installation and minor builders' work.

Ventaco is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team – carrying out high-quality domestic and commercial air conditioning installations across our Surrey and South London.

This is a hands‑on installation role for an experienced engineer who is confident working independently and as part of a team, from initial installation through to commissioning and handover.

Projects range from individual domestic split systems through to larger commercial installations, including multi‑split and VRV/VRF systems. We take pride in delivering neat, professional installations and providing a high standard of service to every customer.

The role will include:

Installation of split, multi‑split and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems.
Domestic and commercial air conditioning installations.
Commissioning, testing and setting up newly installed systems.
Installation of pipework, condensate drainage, cabling and associated equipment.
Working from site plans and installation requirements.
Liaising professionally with customers, site contacts and other trades.
Diagnosing and resolving installation issues where required.
Completing installations to a high standard of workmanship.
Following company procedures and current health and safety requirements.
Supporting other engineers and members of the installation team where required.
Ductwork installation where relevant to the project.
Carrying out minor builders’ work required as part of an installation, such as chasing walls, drilling penetrations and making good where appropriate.

Requirements

Previous experience working as an Air Conditioning Engineer.
Strong practical experience of air conditioning installation.
Experience with both domestic and commercial installations.
Experience installing and commissioning split and multi‑split systems.
Experience working with VRV/VRF systems.
Good understanding of air conditioning installation practices, pipework and condensate systems.
Good fault‑finding and problem‑solving ability.
Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
CSCS card or appropriate site health and safety accreditation.
Ability to work independently and manage work effectively on site.
Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers.
Experience installing ducted air conditioning systems and associated ductwork.
Experience across a range of major air conditioning manufacturers.
Additional HVAC, electrical or refrigeration qualifications.
Experience supervising or supporting less experienced engineers.
Experience carrying out minor builders’ work associated with installations, including chasing walls and making good.
