Job summary

Heppelthwaite the Red Van Plumbers in Bourne End is hiring Air Conditioning Installation Engineers for domestic installations across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, and surrounding areas. You’ll install air conditioning systems safely, professionally and in line with current regulations in customers’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining air conditioning systems where appropriate.
• Identifying and managing risks on site.
• Completing work accurately within agreed schedules.

• Liaising with coordinators, supervisors and management.

• Maintaining a clean and presentable van, equipment and uniform.

The role is primarily focused on domestic air conditioning installations across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and surrounding areas. We have opportunities for both full-time employed engineers and experienced subcontractors.

The Role

We’re currently recruiting experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineers, primarily to carry out domestic air conditioning installations. You’ll work at customers’ homes installing air conditioning systems safely, professionally and in accordance with current regulations and manufacturer requirements.

As one of our engineers, you’ll represent Red Van Plumbers in customers’ homes. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in both their technical work and customer service. Depending on your experience, there may also be opportunities to carry out servicing, maintenance and fault finding.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for experienced air conditioning engineers who can confidently carry out domestic installations to a high standard.

You should have:

• Experience installing domestic air conditioning systems
• F-Gas certification
• Good knowledge of current regulations and safe working practices
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• A full UK driving licence
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

Experience in air conditioning servicing, maintenance and repairs would be an advantage.
