We are looking for a driven best-in-class AI video production expert, with enormous amounts of energy for exploiting emerging generative AI technologies in the field of content production, in order to deliver inspiring outputs along with a growth in scale and speed of production.

You will bring Hollywood tricks through fledgling AI technologies to bear on our customer's problem sets. This is a role which will try to achieve the impossible, challenge convention, push the boundaries of what technology can do to serve our customers and give them powerful, cost-effective results.

This role requires someone with boundless energy, tenacity and drive. It needs a problem solver and experimenter, not afraid to keep on trying, pushing further and faster. It requires someone whose own quality standards exceed the possible.

This role will safely, ethically and enthusiastically harness the latest Gen AI techniques to enable content generation at greater scale, speed and efficiency - to drive campaign effectiveness.

Your background might be as a creative technologist, visual effects designer or a content creator but you'll be using these platforms regularly to deliver cutting edge products, possibly spending your evenings coding, and are likely to be using the latest LLM's throughout your workflow and your life.

We would prefer a junior to mid-weight level, Gen AI / VFX / Editing practitioner hungry to develop themselves and deliver exciting outputs. You will be motivated to work on campaigns with meaning, which use the power of communications to have a positive impact on the world.

This is a full-time role based in London.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Deliver Generative AI Video and Audio Production across World Services and drive innovative solutions.

Responsibilities are to:

• Lead the development of AI generated video products in service of customer requirements, including the application of visual effects and other post-production techniques across video and audio products.
• Ensure the successful production/creation of compelling high-quality media content that engages key defined audiences as directed, which may or may not include AI components.
• Experiment constantly with new Gen AI technologies as directed to explore and solve problems and keep pushing the boundaries.
• Inspire the growth in this field of AI Video Production for projects and customers across World Services.
• Support World Services' global production network of editors, motion graphics designers to bring a cohesive approach, consistency and sharing of best practice.
• Educate other departments on the art of the possible, and inspire new initiatives, including with AI.
• Support development of a truly systemised production process using new technologies through provision of specialist advice, experimentation and implementation.
• Deliver work to briefs, time and budget.
• Ensure proactive, smooth, problem-solving communication and liaison with all stakeholders in the business and without.
• Support with thought-leadership and representation of AI production capability within World Services, to customers and externally.
• Quality assurance of AI and post-production work under remit.
• Informing, upholding and following the highest standards regarding ethical use of AI, data security, commercial confidentiality and other risks associated with AI.
• Using all skills and capabilities to support the Content, Production & Design teams, as well as the wider World Services business, on projects as required and directed.

ABOUT YOU

What you Bring (knowledge, expertise, experience and qualifications)

Essential:

• Experience producing high-quality Gen AI AV products.
• Capable prompt engineer for AI visual outputs.
• Proven experience as video editor.
• Proven experience in visual effects.
• Naturally strong at crafting products which tell powerful stories.
• Some understanding of coding / programming, and experience using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• In depth knowledge of production and its processes including experience delivering high-quality industry standard content.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Significant video editing and visual effects experience (1-3 years) for agencies, production companies, broadcasters or of significance.
• Experience with a range of Gen AI technologies in media.

Desirable:

• Capable of Directing in post-production.
• Understanding of and interest in geopolitics, the development sector and world affairs.
• An instinctive understanding and appreciation of a wide variety of contemporary culture and emerging trends in media.
• Additional languages and/or experience in different global regions.
