Job summary

Edge Hill University is seeking a Professional Services Lead for Artificial Intelligence (Business Optimisation) to drive AI-enabled transformation across core support functions. You will coordinate across DDaT, HR, Finance, Registry, Student Services, Library and more to deliver improvements with strong governance and compliance oversight.

The role requires leading initiatives, building business cases, and fostering institutional capability in responsible AI.

Qualifications

Significant experience leading business transformation or service improvement initiatives.
Experience of process redesign and organisational change.
Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups in a complex organisation.
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and its operational applications.
Experience developing business cases and benefits realisation frameworks.
Understanding of AI governance, risk and compliance requirements.
Ability to identify and deliver operational improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of AI enabled business improvement activities across Professional Services.
Ensure governance, data protection and human oversight in AI initiatives.
Develop institutional capability, innovation and operational effectiveness through responsible AI.
Act as the principal advocate for AI enabled business transformation.
Lead the business optimisation workstream of the AI Strategy within Edge Hill University.
